x51v display refresh rate on external monitor

I'm considering occasionally using the x51v as a desktop replacement with display on an external monitor.

I'm considering the Nyditot software with variable size display.

In my scenario, I'd love to be able to launch a remote desktop session to a remote server to be displayed on an attached VGA tube monitor. Ideally at higher resolutions. With Clearview I could go to 1024x768, with Nyditot, it could be 1280x1024.

My Axim display would be turned off and I'd use the display as a mouse pad (or a BT mouse solution is also an option). Together with a BT or IR keyboard, I'd be getting the best of both worlds, wouldn't it? The power of a remote server without the weight of a laptop to carry. (Given I have access to a monitor obviously)

What would be the refresh rate supported by the 2700G GPU. 60Hz, 75Hz? would it lower with higher resolution? 60Hz causes me some eye strain. I've digged but couldn't find a precise answer.

Thanks in advance.

Any comments on using this technical solution, positive or negative, are welcome.

I do not know if you already tryed Nyditot, but just in case you must know only 60Hz are offered at configuration menus.

No idea about it 2700G supports 75Hz.

Are you a software developer?
I have SDK for 2700G.
Few months ago I wrote an small utiliy just to avoid using Nyditot when you only need to turn on external display and turn off internal one at the same time.

2700G SDK is poorly documented and I got what I need with a lot of try&error attempts.
