While this will work, it really doesn't respond to connecting your Axim to your Mac. Yes, I use Boot Camp and VMware Fusion on my Macbook running Leopard, and both do a great job of running Windows on a Mac for those software applications that aren't available on a Mac (you can run one or the other, or use Fusion to access your Boot Camp installation of Windows on your Mac desktop). To install programs to your Axim, this pretty much is the option (unless you have the CAB files for installation, which I wish more and more providers would offer).

To connect your Axim to your Mac to sync data etc., there is a program out there called Missing Sync (The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile - Synchronize Mac OS X to Windows Mobile 6, WM5, Smartphone and Pocket PC).

Let us know how your experience goes. I have a Mac at home, but only connect my Windows Mobile device at work, so haven't yet needed to. Good-luck.

Maybe try this

Resume Missing Sync With New Synchronization Tool For Mac!
It's in beta, but it's free!

It may be an off-topic here, but I consider switching to Mac and would like to know what to be aware of.

Specifically, there are two essential programs that I am using - MS Money (syncing to Cash Org on Axim) and PocketController.

Is there a Money app on Mac that would import MS Money file ? How much of a headache would it be ? Or, can I run MS Money under VMWare or similar, and still be able to sync ?

Is there a Mac app to see / control PPC screen the way PocketController does it ?

Thanks !

I am loving my switch to Mac. Not sure about the other programs, but I do know that those software apps will run totally well under Fusion. Make sure you have the latest version of Fusion tho (it will ask you at startup, so say yesy to download and instll the update before actually launching Windows). As a bonus, Fusion also has a great option where Windows apps will look like they're running right in the Mac OS (RAM is still being split between the two OS with this tho). I added ram after I received (Apple wants crazy amounts of money for a Ram upgrade). Do the switch, I'm sorry I waited.
