Hmmm...I didn't know that the X50(mid) WM2003 SE rom pack would work on a X50(low) as well.

DECENT WM6/WM6.1 (voip?) rom for Axim X50(mid) and X50(low) is postponed (until I can find time to get my X50(mid) repaired)

About the only anomaly (besides the white screen problem) in the set up was the extreme lag when doing the touchscreen alignment (for the first 3 touchpoints) After that it was smooth sailing!

Hi all,
I am sorry that this is my first post, I tried to upgrade my Axim X50 using maglite's X50V upgrade from another forum (for some reason I was blind because it was for a X50V and I have a X50).
I was originally on Win 2003 SE A01 and I'v flashed to Win 5 A01, this is were my problems have started.
The unit no longer sync's but I can run diagnostic mode, reset and hard reset do not seem to work, plz help:(:(

Did you flash the bootloader nb0? If not, just download the WM2003 SE rom pack and flash the os nb0.

Hi Steven855,
pls excuse the simple language but I only wanted to flah my x50 upto windows 6 (ultimately) I am not an expert as most of you seem to be and I found this site after searching google.
Saying that, I would like your help pls,
1. how do I know if I have flashed the boot loader and
2. were can I download the 2003 se rom from,
I bought this x50 a few years agao from ebay (new) but did not receive any software disk with it, thanks for your reply

I am not worthy!
After laboring in vain to change the language on my Axim x50 through several different schemes I finally tried Steven855's post....and it worked perfectly! In this world there are several different kinds of people. There are posers, who don't know anything and yet talk like they do. There are the wannabe's, who don't know anything but know they don't and want to learn. There are the amazed, (me) they don't know anything and are ok with that because they know there are the real deals. The real deals know what they are doing and help the rest of us poor dolts. Steven855, I salute you, you are the real deal.:approve:
