it was wm5 to wm6 when it went blank i followed your instructions, and now this is what i have it stops loading on the blue dell screen about 7/8's of the way done

Others have done it, but I reccommend upgrading to WM5 via usb and Activesync.

I have tried this method after upgrading to WM5 via usb and my unit is now dead. Just a black screen. Wont power on. Nothing is functioning.

Hi I need some help, I am getting to the sd screen but it only has the option for A01. it seems to try and says image update failed. please try it again. what did I do wrong?

i tried to follow the instructions but it keeps telling me that no suitable image is found. it is looking for the a01 file. it says sd flash thingy a01. i dowloaded the a01 file from the link on the page and put it on my sd card as instructed, but it doesn't work. i wasn't able to find hte nb0 file in the download. all i could find was a couple exe programs and a img file. what did i do wrong?

ok i think i figured it out. it finally found it once i renamed it. then it said it had completed successfully and told me to hard reset the device. so i did and the screen went all black and stayed that way. and it isn't responding to anything now. and i double checked to lock button too.

what you have to do to get it recognized is rename it per the first page instructions. the last one i think has some renaming instructions. try that. it worked for me....sorta
