Suggestion for a sticky post

I think a sticky of needed/seriously suggested upgrades would be great, especially for newer/less experienced users.

While there are lots of posts that talk about various upgrades, and all their work and comments are SERIOUSLY APPRECIATED, some/most are not interested, or even capable, of understanding the technical aspects of the posts. Some of the topics are dozens of pages long.

I'd like to see a list of what should be done and why and then a link to the various posts that talk about the history of the upgrade/fix. No comments in this post, there are lots of comments in the other threads.

Something like
Newbie upgrade guide

Upgrade ROM
Fixes this problem or that memory issue or whatever
Link to the A06-A12 post
Link to files/installation info

Wi-Fi update
Fixes problem with getting correct signal strength (or whatever it does :-)
Link to thread

Next update...

Just an idea, it would help me and I'm fairly comfortable with computers (CSci prof but new to owning a PDA).

I like that idea also. I've done a ROM upgrade to my X51V, but it took a LOT of study and time before I felt comfortable enough to do it. Most of the stuff I read was comments that were appreciated, but not needed to do the upgrade.:rolling:
