Why Do I Have A Horizontal Line On my Screen?

I notice a horizontal line on my lower portion of my screen directly above the wireless and bluetooth icons on my Axim X50V.

Why is it there?

Where did it come from?:rolling:

How do I get rid of it?

Did you install a screen protector lately. Pressure applied under the edge of the screen can create these.

Mine was verticle, but maybe it's a similar type of line.

No,:headshake I didnt put on a screen protector. I had put one on a while ago but I had no line at that point.

The line on Kevin1a screen is not like the one on mine. :headshake

My line will change colors with the background. It looks like the other lines that separate the day/date/year, owner info, messages, tasks, etc.

My line just happens to be at the bottom of the screen.

My X51v has that line too, also change color when changing theme. That is normal.

That line appeared to become more prominent after I installed
UItweaker util and messed about changing my Today screen.
Actually on mine if you look closely they appear between
every plugin header.
I noticed it right away after changing screen background to
a charcoal grey,minor annoyance.

Very true. A minor thing, but it still draws your eye to it. If there was a way to get rid of it, that would be nice. Although, its not awful to live with. I suppose if there is no fix I will have to deal with it.

Yes,download UI Tweaker and install on ppc (it's free) then
boot up app goto TdyScheme Changer,Standard Colors,Today Screen
Horizontal Bar then checkmark Customize Color and tap the colored
box that appears-use the sliders to adjust the color.

I just did it to my 51v.
