Questions about a battery extender for Axim

I once came across a Do It Yourself battery extender, but I can't find the article. Does anyone have a link.

Also, most extenders use 1,2 or 4 AA batteries. Do you think it would work with a "C" cell or "D" cell battery?

THanks so much!

Did you try the search function? I found this in a few seconds of looking.

Thank you for the reply. YES, I tried the search function, but was using "Emergency charger", and didn't come up with anything.

As you may have noticed, my question was two-fold and no search helped me here. Can you make a "C" cell or "D" cell unit the same way, and be ok?

There should be no reason why a C or D cell unit could be made in the same manner. Of course the obvious downside would be the 3 to 4 times increase in size and weight.
