IE Error on Axim X51v w/ A12 Update

Can anyone tell me how to fix an error that keeps coming up in Pocket Internet Explorer? If I type any address into it, a pop-up immediately appears saying, "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again." I have tried many different websites and they all make the same message appear.

In an effort to fix it, I did back up my information and hard-reset. The problem was fixed, but I would really like to avoid having to reconfigure all the settings and programs for my Pocket PC.

When you did the upgrade how did you restore your data? did you do it from an old backup? You may have caused a problem if you did. It is not advisable to do a restore after a ROM upgrade because of that. Other than that you are going to have a hard time figuring out what is causing your problem i think if it isn't caused by a restore. If you reloaded your apps one at a time and got this problem you will have to do it again and check after each install to see what is the issue. All of this is assuming that you checked things like Proxy settings and network connections.

There are several issues that have been related to the 'page not found' error but I suspect yours was due to the cache being full.

(check Troubleshooting section of the WiFi Guide for more possibilities)
