One battery, please

Bernardm,

I just sent a private message, but just in case, I'd greatly appreciate one of those batteries.

My email is in the pm.

x50v backup battery

Dear Bernard
Just saw your post today. I think my backup battery is toast. The battery meter indicates it is fully charged but when I switch the main battery it displays the clear memory default message. My only exit is to clear memory and do a restore. I assume this is the backup battery failing.

I would like to get a battery if you still have any left. Just send info for the SASE.

I will transfer your goodwill on in some form to someone else to keep it rolling.

Cheers

Hi, this seems really cool. I could definitely use a new battery for my axim.

I will now send you a PM to check if you have any left.

Another request...

Hello, BernardM

My wife and I have a couple of aging X50Vs, and it would be great to have spare backup batteries on hand for when our finally go. I've sent you my address and other info in a PM.

Thanks

I'm very sorry about that and will certainly rectify this either tomorrow or Friday.

Based on 2 other GB shipments, those users got back in touch with confirmation within 6 or 7 days.

Again, please accept my apologies. I guess I got lost among all the paypal activity for the tips and looked over your's for the batteries. I feel badly, but will take care of this by Friday, if not before.

I will send you a pm when I get back from the postoffice.

I'll throw in another goodie or so, too.

Bernard
Bernard,

Hi I didn't recieve a PM from you about you mailing them so I would just like to know if you have sent out the batteries and when I can expect them? You PM box is full and this is my only recourse as you have not enabled e-mailing via the forum.

Hi, I'd like to take advantage of your generous offer. Please send your address, I'll have the SASE off to you in a jiffy! Hope I'm not too late!

Thanks,

Hi Bernardm,

I have tried to PM you but your box was full.

I have Axim X51v but I have read that these baterries could also be soldered. I do not know (I am guessing here) whether they have the same specifications as the ones used on the X51v but if this is the case can you send me a PM with your address. I live in the UK.

Thank you in advance!

Cheers,
Jordan

Hi Peter. I'm really sorry. I just got back into town last night. I still have not sent the batteries. Hopefully, I will do it this afternoon, or tomorrow.

It's just been hectic, and yes, the darn PM box is always full even when I empty space.

Jordan, I really don't know about the soldering thing. Someone else wrote on this thread that these couldn't be used in the 51 models. From experience, I can tell you that they are not the same battery assembly. There is also an extensive thread that I've seen regarding the 51 battery replacement with alot of pictures.

My pm box is still full.

OK. I just sent my last 2 batteries to Germany.

I'd like to ask that a forum administrator close this thread. I'm all out. No more batteries are available.

Please don't send any more pm's regarding batteries or tips. My box seems to always be full.

I hope everyone got their battery that was waiting for one. If I missed one, I really apologize, but it was a lot of messages between the tips and these batteries.

I hope that they were helpful, and fixed some problems that people were having with axim 50 models. It was a lot of fun communicating with so many people.

I don't have anymore 'extras' to do this again. Between the charger tips and these batteries, I'm pretty much cleaned out.
