Battery drainage still!

Ok, so my husband bought me an axim x50v and did the active sync fix on it and that helped for a day or two. After that day or two my battery started draining super fast again. I close active sync every time I am done syncing. I have no idea why the battery is draining so fast. I need help! Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Is it a new battery?

I've seen many axim's that simply drained the battery super super fast.

It must be something of an internal failure that any software patch can't fix.
