Hi,
I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to bluetooth technology so hopefully someone can help me out. I've been reading these forums for a few days now on this topic but I couldn't find any clear info that would help in my case.
I just got a Plantronics voyager 855 bluetooth headset and I want to make it work with my
Axim X50V running wm2003se ROM A05.
I got it connected, I can listen to music (some what low quality though) on all my media players (mort, WMP, TCMP) but I cant use it's AVRCP functionality.
Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get AVRCP working. Do I need the Widcomm stack or is that only for WM5? Does mort even support AVRCP some ppl say it does, others say it doesn't.
Also, if this is all impossible to do, are there any wired headsets that have some form of remote control capability that would work with my axim?
Thanks for the help
UPDATE: I did this:
"
go here:
http://www.pdagold.com/forums/view_t...sp?t=5012&fi=0
and download the PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BTUpdate.cab
1.move bttrayCE.lnk from \windows\startup to somewhere safe ie bis or mydocs or somewhere just not starup folder :-)
2.reboot
3.install CAB to defaultlocation
4.move bttrayce.lnk back into startup folder ( if you want) or just go to your BT manager through startmenu
5.reboot
6. enable BT and bingo, HQ Audio setup available in BT Manager new."
and now I have good quality sound, but still no AVRCP functionality
