adhoc wifi connection drops every minute

Hi all,
Im using x51v. I created an adhoc wifi connection between my x51v and my latop. It works ok but the connection drops every 1 or 2 minutes and then is automatically reconnected. Does anyone have the same problem like me? Is there a solution to fix it?

Disable powersave in the WiFi utility.

I did that but still the same

Then it may be an interfering signal (other networks, cordless phones and microwaves are common problems) that may be corrected by changing the channel (you'll need to do this on the laptop).

Also, there may be some setting on the laptop that is causing it. IMO, adhoc connections are more trouble than they are worth.
