Two Questions: ActiveSync and Looking for tool

Hello,

I have two questions, I had to upgrade ActiveSync 4.5. If I have my Axim x51v on the cradle and say a Excel or Word doc open on the laptop (XP), I always get the "Unresolved Item" error. I happens pretty much non-stop. I never had this issue with ActiveSync 4.2, what am I doing wrong?

Also, I'm looking for a few simple apps, one to display a "shutdown" and "soft reset" icon on the today screen. I know there are more involved plugins that have this as part of them but I was looking for something that really only contains these features. Also, I'm looking for something that actually will close an app when I select the "X". I'm trying "Magic Button" but not too happy with that, I don't like all the icons it adds to the top of the today screen.

First thing you need to do is go back to 4.2,I had the same
problems and that was the fastest and simple solution.
I was going to suggest Magic Button however I see you
aren't impressed with it,I use MemMaid or Tweaks2Lite
as I found conflicts with Magic Button as well.

I can't go back to 4.2, the ROM requires 4.5.

I can live with Magic Button

Any app for the shutdown / soft reset?

psshutxp will open a popup that allows you to soft reset.

you could try wisbar advanced which will give you more controll over what happens when you click the x. also adds soft reset to the drop down from the file menu bar. might give you everything youre asking about.
