Just sync with time service using vxUtil over wi-fi, and everything will be set correctly.
No actually it didn't, I use sp timesync (pool.ntp.org) and it would just say the clock was out by a few seconds, rather than an hour and a few seconds.
As I wrote earlier, my x51v failed to update...so I rebuilt it...guess it's something I'll have to do at least twice a year.

All I can say is, this totally bites! making my Nokia E61i smartphone which rolled over perfectly look all the nicer. So much for using Windows Mobile devices for business use
My Axim was still an hour behind, so instead of changing the clock on the Axim, I just disconnected it, rebooted it and reconnected. Then the clock matched my PC clock. But then some, not all, of my appointments had been moved an hour ahead.
Well DST arrived and all my appointments were 1 hour earlier and clock was off by i hour and all my holidays were 1 day earlier. Good Friday was now on Thursday...
Used the Microsoft DST 2008 patch and appointments were ok but clock still off. Did a hard data reset without resetting to factory settings and clock and appointments appear to be OK. Deleting all Holidays and will reinstall. Holding my breath.
DST came and appointments were 1 hour earlier.. clock off too and all Holidays 1 day too early... Good Friday was now on Thursday. Ran Microsoft patch and appointments were fixed... hard reset without restoring to factory settings fixed the clock and....
searched Outlook on my PC for all holidays... selected and deleted all... synched (which took forever) and then re-intsalle Holidays using Outlook Tools Options Calendar Add Holidays. and now Good Friday is on Friday and I'm feeling better though a lot of wasted time.
I installed the .cab that was posted on this site in Feb 2007. Both changes last year and the one this year went without a hitch. My clock simply updated correctly. My appointments stayed in the right place and everything syncs with both my home and work computers. I'm running WM2003SE. I passed it on to a friend in the office that got an x50v last month and his worked perfectly too.
My Palm devices worked correctly. My X50V that ran WM2003SE worked correctly, too. This new and improved X51V running WM5 does not. Does not give me a warm fuzzy about any possible WM6 device, that's for sure.

It sounds to me like you've got two different issues going on with your Pocket PC.......
1) It did not adjust for DST
2) It did not recognize leap year day (Feb 29th)
The second issue happened on my HP IPAQ rx1950 too, but HP posted a patch to fix leap year issues....perhaps Dell has posted such a fix for the Axim (assuming you have an Axim)??

Wow, just came across this thread and am surprised. I installed the DST patch around a year ago on my x51v and have not had a problem since. Sunday morning when I turned on my PDA, it said the clock had been adjusted for DST, I clicked OK and all appointments are correct. I don't use alarms, so don't know how that would have affected mine.
I don't understand why some x51v's have problems and others have none. Good ol' Microsoft!

I had the same problem as many of you. To clean this and one other problem I was having up I just did a backup, hard reset and restored. But, that is a poor way of fixing a small problem. I have to say that I too am disappointed in the way things are working with MS. I shouldn't even have to worry about this, it should be taken care of without me even having to think through it, never the less having to go through all the trouble many of us are just to get the clock to display the right time.
It sounds like those who installed the DST patch before the time change did not experience the problems that those who waited until after the time change did?
