Resizing Images for Dell Axim

Hey all,
I want to transfer some photographs from my digicam to my dell axim, the problem is that the images are huge in resolution and size, so I want to resize them to the resolution of my dell axim so the file size also goes down too.

Can someone tell me the resolution and also some free tools for resizing that you're using.

Danke!
Regards,
Sibot

If you put the photographs on your PC, you can use Activesync to copy them to your Axim (if you're using Vista, then use the built in sync application): AS will take care of resizing by offering you various options before sending them to your device.

BTW, welcome to Aximsite

I use an free XP Powertool from M$ for resizing images: Image resizer. It works from an file explorer window by right clicking on an image fie (or by select a whole batch of files) and gives you the option of various image dimensions (including for handheld or a custom setting). In addition to making file copies for the PPC, it's also great for making image copies for viewing on various PC screens.

Thanks for that link ikehiker! I hadn't seen that resizer before- looks to be quite handy. Downloading it now...
