ms streets not installing

I am trying to install streets and trips and my pc says it's been installed but my axim does not. I even have a map loaded on a CF and it sees it as an unusable file. I have had similar problems with streets and trips installing in the past. I would uninstall and reinstall many times to get it working and I have done so again this time but with no success.

Has any one else had trouble installing this program? What am I doing wrong?

sometimes you need to manually install streets and trips for pocket pc from the disk or local drive...

Thank you jdigitL, got it working.
I had to go into activesynch tools and click on add/remove programs. It also installed toy golf which I had tried installing about a month ago but gave up. Weird!?:)
