Which version do i need, will it help - interfear, or not.. with my BT controller issues?
Will I need to find new drivers for the controller?

I wrote to the guy on ebay, and he said "He can" send me the stuff, but I'm not sure if he will, or if I just won't hear from him again... hopefully he'll be cool...

Thank you again for all the advice.. you all rock!
You can go to the latest version without doing the ones in between. As far as the Widcomm, I use it all the time because it will give you the profiles to the most popular BT things and it just plain works better than the stack that is in the normal ROM. It is removable too. Though sometimes it is a bit 'cranky' to remove, it shows up in the normal remove list after you install it. It just takes a few minutes to do and sometimes you have to re-install it then remove it again to get it out clean but I haven't had any other issues with it.

Since this is allowed now, I have to say that one of the WM6 ROM Builds gave me increased battery drain. I don't remember which one it was, but it had some kind of CPU scaleing that slaugtered my battery life worse than using the built in scaling on the highest setting all the time. An update fixed it.

1. What ROM are you running?

While the formentioned is possible, I think the most probable solution is what someone said about using the hardware buttons to turn of the unit, and turning off wifi.
