i've always thought that SDHC cards are physically incapable of running on a non-SDHC slot.
since you guys have been able to run SDHC cards in your Axim, does that mean its a software issue more than a physical issue?
I am running a 16gb SDHC card in my X15V. I have WM6 from Lennysh installed on this unit. I have another unit I use to testing and as a spare. That unit has had every ROM Lennysh or makuu have ever produced running on it at one time or another. In every case of a ROM that is at least WM6 level my SDHC card worked in the units SD slot with full access to its memory. For me the upgrade to WM6 or higher has made my unit much faster and more stable than any WM5 ROM released by Dell.

thanks for reply..
ugh..and i wasted money buying a 4GB CF card when i could've bought a 4GB SDHC card for a fraction of the price..
My SDHC card is a Transcend Class 6. Picked it up a few days ago from Newegg. 8gb card delivered was a tad under $35. I was too cheap / nervous to spring for an 16gb card right off the bat. :)
Now all I need is my Task Switcher Bar back from WM5. :(
Theres a cab install of it on my site.

WM6.1 Professional - CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.2) with "4.8 MB Pagepool"
Elbrin,
I recommend you stay the hell away from the rom you're currently using. It says 'professional' which means it's the one Makuu left all the phone modules in.
These phone modules will try to call phone hardware on boot, and I suspect that over extended periods of running time, you'll notice a lot of instability developing.

Go find yourself a nice WM6.1 Classic rom :)
It says professional because it will first boot as a professional rom, this is mandatory for people that want to use the last version of PocketCM on their axim. Once the axim is up and running the rom includes a switcher that allows you to switch to a classic rom on demand. I have read a post from lennysh claiming that booting with a professional rom will lead to instability and you are claiming the same. This is totally untrue, and even if it was like mentioned before the exact same rom allows you to switch to "classic". I have read some posts from user using lennysh rom and adding phone dll to be able to use PDAphone based software, have you seen any of them having issues with their devices?
Off course you can correct me if I am wrong and If you have had any instability with my rom please tell me what were the software that you installed on it and what kind of instability you had with it?
