Question Program Not Entirely Removed

I used the "remove programs" utility to remove a program. The program was removed from the available program list but its icon remained. Is there a way to get rid of the icon itself? Just for the heck of it, I I reloaded the program from my desktop. What I got was a second icon. The original is named: X and the second one is X (2). When I did the remove, the second one was the only one in the list of programs. When the program was removed again, its icon was removed too leaving me with the original still.

The icon is just a shortcut. Just delete the shortcut(s). They are probably under \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ on the PDA.

You may want to consider something like PocketMechanic to remove programs. That way you know everything is removed, especially from the registry. :approve:
