I have been using Football's WM6 A03 Preview on my X51V since its release. I was intending to upgrade to the RTM version at a later date, but at the time there seemed to be a flurry of troubleshooting and changes going on an I decided that since everything that was critical to me was functioning, that I would keep using the Preview release until it seemed the dust had settled.
Fast-forward until now and I finally got back to checking out the existence of the WM6.1 versions on XDA-Dev. Of course I see there is two different versions of WM6.1 Classic currently being made available. Lennysh and Makuu.
Anyone have any insight what differences exist between these two? I have pretty straight-forward uses for my Axim and do value stability over all other things as it is a business tool and not so much an entertainment toy.
Any opinions as to whether it is worth installing one of these ROMs or is it too early in their development cycle? I am not much for wiping out and reconfiguring my device repeatedly, which is the other reason why I never upgraded from Football's A03 Preview.
One annoyance with the Football release was the password feature that would always return you to the Today menu, instead of the last open application. I have read that the Lennysh distro resolves this issue.
Any thoughts and opinions are a appreciated.
