CF Card writing

I find that writing from my laptop to the ax with active sync brutally slow.

I was wondering if an aftermarket usb card reader would speed things up at all?

Using active sync to move any files to or from a CF or SD card is very slow. Using a memory card reader is the only way to go. They are really cheap and well worth what little you invest.

A card reader is WAY FASTER than Activesync...
Look for the 'HAMA 35 in 1'... It's cheap and a real speed demon...

I got a 4 in 1 multi card reader at microcenter for about 7 bucks. It's definately worth it, especially moving 4 gigs it took maybe 10 minutes or so.
