WM5 to WM6 how to load backup file

Well I've searched and searched and could not find any thread that related to what I was looking for. So here it is. In WM5 on the Dell x51V there was a default program called Back up. I used "Back Up" before flashing to WM6.1. Now.... no program called Back up. Is there a program out there that is able to utilize the file Back up made and restore data from my SD Card?

I doubt very much that it will be possible. The backup program on the Axim is proprietary and I doubt that people making the WM6 ROM have access to the source program. Since Dell has not endorsed/approved the upgrade, they are certainly not going to provide the program and even if they did, the Dell backup didn't work between different OSes (in fact,, often didn't work between different ROMs of the same OS version).

Several of the WM6.1 ROM upgrades have included a pim backup application. I use Spb Backup application. This application will copy the contents of the entire ROM for you or just PIM data. I use this application to populate the extra X51V that I have thats a spare to keep it aligned with my daily one. :approve:

To clarity (and for my own information), the backup utilities in 6.1 will not restore from the Dell backup in WM5, will they?
