Volume control program - available?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a very simple program for my X51v (WM6.1, wheee!) that does the following:

1) I assign it to one of my hardware buttons and I press the button
2) App launches and allows me to configure the volume. [b]The best case scenario would be that it shows the volume control menu in WM5/6
3) Action (middle round) button is pressed to confirm volume setting.

It can be an app or even use the default WM5/WM6 (I prefer to use the default one though).

I have SPB PocketPlus 4.x and it has a volume loop functionality, but I hate not knowing where I am in the volume level.

You might have some success by programming a macro to open the default volume bubble. You probably already know what I'm talking about, but just in case, I will explain it.

A macro is a sequence of keystrokes, screentaps, etc. that are recorded and can be played with one keystroke. For example: I really like the spongebob squarepants theme song! I can program a macro of me opening WMP selecting the song and skipping to my favorite part. Now when I want to listen to the song, I no longer have to press all those keys, all I have to do is execute the macro.

It has been a while since I messed with macros, so I cannot recommend a program, though I know there is more than one available. Can anyone recomend a good program for STi Sev?

it's not exactly what you described, however x50Mix works very well for my audio control. it has main volume, headphone boost, bass, treble. best of all, it's free. it's also rediculously easy to use, and has a number of presets. just thought you'd like to check it out..

The problem with X50Mix is that it is NOT controlled easily with the directional keypad.
I would like something that is able to be controlled (up and down) by the directional pad.

RE: Macro - I know what it is, but it's not within my league to write one. :(

Hi Julie,
Yea, I forgot to mention but I tried that program and it didn't work well :(

Nobody knows of a way to make the volume control scroll down?

I thought about that Bill Todd, but I'm afraid I'm not much a BAT script writer :( I would love to have some way of taking advantage of the built in volume control.
