WM6 and Infrared (Irda)

I've recently upgraded my Axim X50v to WM6 A02 0PP, and have been busy getting new applications installed on it.

One application I wanted to get back on is RemoteControl II. However, no matter where I install the software (Main Memory or CF card), as soon as I run it, it crashes out.

I emailed the company and they said it might be that my version of WM6 doesn't fully implement the IrDA.

So my questions are, can anybody confirm the IrDA works / doesn't work under WM6? And has anybody managed to get RemoteControl II working with it?

EDIT:

To answer my first question, I've successfully used Novii Remote Delux on my X50v running WM6, so the IrDA is working correctly. It's just that I can't get RemoteControl II to run.

I'm running Makuu's A06 "Pure" wm6.1 rom and IrDA works just like it should. I use Nevo Remote Control to control TV and Stereo, just like in the times of WM5.

Football said on xda's that his actual release has problems with IrDA, but they should be solved on the next release. Don't know about Lenny's, but don't remember of users complaining about it...
