Ooh....lost car adapter! Am I screwed?!

I use new Garmin 10 for PDA and my Axim x51v as a GPS system.

The problem is that I do not have car adapter for my Axim x51v...just the cradle! I look in Staples, Walmart, and RadioShack but did not find car adapter for Axim x51v!

I have a huge trip this Friday and I can't go without GPS...

Is there anything I could do? I have 2200 battery and I doubt it will last even 1 hour with Garmin Mobile TX and BlueTooth enabled at all times!

You could buy an inverter to plug your cradle into and use that
in the car!

Check Best Buy for the PSP car adapter. That's what I use. Unless you're talking about the dongle that fits into the PDA. If so, you may have to do what bigtsr suggested.

I've used a cheap Vector 100 watt inverter to power an X51V, X5, and Dell BT GPS at once with no problems.

I'd get an inverter with at least 100W capacity. Those will normally power a laptop. So, they should easily power your PDA.

100W is more than enough as the power adapter is only rated at 400mA.

After your trip you can get an extra USB cable from eBay, and a USB power car adapter available in store.
