After months of debating about upgrading my X51v to WM 6.0, I changed course and bought an unlocked, unbranded HTC Tytn PDA phone and have decided to sell my X51v.
I already missed the X51v screen, but having to carry only one device alleviates some of the pain. Also, the majority of my programs work on the TyTn.
I've installed the official HTC WM 6.0 upgrade and don't know if I'll be adventurous enough to install a cooked ROM, but all is well.
I've been an Axim user since the rollout of the X5. So to all the members that have helped me along the way, especially getting a replacement X51v, and sharing their knowledge, good luck and good bye.
What Gigi said. I wouldn't leave the forums if I were you. :(
I see more discussions about other products than the AX and you still have WM6. :approve:

Well, I have tended to give my older devices away as gifts to people who are new to the world of gadget obsession..umm..I mean mobile technology.
My Tungsten E, iPaq 2215 and Clie TH-55 were all eventually shipped out that way. The TH-55 was just sent two weeks ago to a friend who for medical rersons is stuck in bed for awhile and could use a good, small ebook reader (which the TH-55 certainly is).
However, I am holding onto my Tungsten C, keeping it nice and safe in a drawer. Some old friends deserve long and honored retirements.
I recently ditched 2 Axim X50Vs and I must say that since I bought my tilt, I left Aximsite for Tiltsite and mobilitysite, luckily the sites feel the same LOL

IMHO and how I use my X51V and Razr the Tilt would not be the correct upgrade. I still use my X51V as a Pocket PC first and a PDA second. I also use my X51V as a multi media device for movies, pictures, ebooks, and pdf files. Most of my friends use their devices as a PDA and cell phone and for them I would agree with you the tilt would work well for them. Any way sorry to see you go!
I must say I agree that the x50v and newer model were the perfect entertainment device, but I really needed one device, if it wasn't for my 30gb Zune and my 8gb card in my tilt, I think I would be carrying the x51v and my tilt. I must say the keyboard feel and sensible operational ability is what sold me on it, among other reasons. I still say the Axim was the best PDA series ever, so dell, ya screwed up by canceling it.
