Question Deleted reminders still give alarms!

I have an Axim X51v running WM2005 A12.

I sync this with Outlook 2003 on Win XP to manage my diary.

When I delete a meeting in Outlook, it goes from there, and it goes from my Axim calender... but, whe the meeting would have been due (it is now deleted!), then I get an alarm!

I thought things were just generally messed up and lived with this for a while, but I recently did a hard reset and rebuilt my Axim from scratch... the problem is still there.

Any one else experienced this? Any ideas what's wrong?

Try PMClean, it's a freeware utility that can remove old appointments and other notifications.

All just add this from my experience. If I delete an appointment when the AX is in the dock and sync'd to the PC, it's totally gone. However, if I delete an appointment on the PC when the AX is not docked, the next sync deletes the appointment on the AX calendar, but, I get an alarm at the original time.

I assume this is just a querk of the AX calendar program setup. :rolling:
