Axim x51v and Ubuntu
Has anyone at anytime been able to fully sync their axim with Linux? I am running Ubuntu Linux and have scoured their forums trying to find a simple way to get this to work. What the Ubuntu community should be working on is something I'd like to call activeUbuSync.
The closest I've come to syncing my Axim with Ubuntu is being able to detect the device and then I was able to access the folders, but somehow, I haven't been able to duplicate that again.[IMG][/IMG]

Have you tried using wine? You could install active sync in wine and it might work.

no, you need to install synce via synaptic. That might just remedy your situation. See SynceWithUbuntu - SynCE Wiki for more information.

That's the exact site that I have in the photo of this thread, but it looks like it's been updated since I last visited. I'll have to check it out and give it another try. However, from what I've read, I won't hold my breath on it working.
Does anyone have any personal experience on getting it to work?
