Help!! I lost my software to download to PC for Dell Axim X51v

Help. I have Dell Axim x51v and recently I got a new laptop. I lost my software cd (Windows mobile 5.0pocket pc) which came with the dell axim to allow to download onto the laptop.

WHere can I get software so i can transfer data from my dell axim x51v to my new ibm laptop.

just download a copy of activesync (xp) or wmdc (vista) from the microsoft website, and you're good to go...

The only thing that's on the original disk that came with my X51V was a legal copyright protected version of Microsoft Office Outlook. All of the rest of the content were trial games and applications easly found on the internet. In addition the version of ActiveSync that was on the CD was obsolete and I used the new version from the internet.

Since your new laptop probably runs Vista, you will want to download and install WMDC, not ActiveSync. WMDC is the replacement for AS on the Vista OS. You will need either Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007 in order to sync Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and so forth.
