This is not the normal notification problem

I cannot create appointment alarms. I know your first response will be to clean out the notification log. But thats not the issue. It is clean. All past and future appointment notifications have been cleaned out. The system timers are all present and set for the future or no specific time (replog, calnot.exe, etc). The problem is it will not CREATE a new appointment alarm. If I create an alarm for a task, it shows up in the notification log. If I create an alarm for a note...it shows up in the notification log. They will both sound. But try as I may, it will not create the entry for an appointment alarm.

Has anyone ran into this problem? And more importantly, is there a fix?

I have over 6000 appointments in my unit so I do not believe there is a limit within this application however you should check the amount of usable memory remaining within your unit first. Second I would back up your unit and do a hard reset to make sure that there are no other issues effecting this problem.
