axim x51 updates

Hi, I'm new and I bougth an axim x51
most of the stuff here and in all the web deals avout te x50v and x51v
I would like to know if there are any rom updates or stuf for the x51
like a wm6.1 rom or something like that???
any help would be apreciated

Sorry, is the axim x51 midle range, 520Mhz,128 ROM, 64 RAM wifi, bluetooth, Resolution 240x320 at 65,536 colors (QVGA)

Yes, but all those post centers on either x50v or x51v

To my knowledge there is no WM6 ROM yet for units other than a X51V or X50V. Attempting to run a ROM flash for a unit other than what you model number is will brick your unit. :approve:

thanks for your reply, I don't understand why there is no rom upgrades, since the x51 is almost like a hybrid betheen x50v and x51v, it has the same amount of memory and rom than the x50, and has the nonvolatile memory like x51v, the only diference with those models is the screen, and the lack of dedicated video hardware, and of course less speed but not that much, there are many other pda's with equall or less power that can upgrade!
and there are many people out there that could not aford to buy a x50v or x51v but managed the x51, so if any of the guys that produced the rom upgrades could give a tought about it and maybe make an upgrade for all of us it would be awesome
