How long did your Dell battery last?

Do a google search and you will find tons of them. Beware of those that are to good to be true on ebay, they usually are! :approve:

Mine is still working after 3 years or so. I also bought a backup battery from Dell. It is double the size of the regular one with 2200mAh.

3 years? Mine seems to run out faster and recharge to full faster, I guess that means I will be needing another one soon.

Ive had mine 3 years and it still works as good as new, b/c i leave it on the charger almost all the time, and hardly ever take it anywhere. I usually just use it plugged in.

Ive ordered a couple of the ones from ebay that are 2200 extended batteries and have had good luck. Anymore the batteries are cheap Ive got two extended 2200 and one 3600 mah its a monster

Saw the 2200 extended battery, it comes with the bigger cover, does that mean if I use it, it won't fit in the cradle anymore?

I have the 2200 mah with the cover and it still fits the Dell Axim cradle.

I've had the original and a backup since day one. I swap them out about every six months. I've found that the one will only work the PDA for 2 hours, while the other one lasts about 3 hours.

Yep the 2200 will fit fine the 3600 one though forget it its huge. The runtime on both batteries is great, the standard isnt enough for me
