Is there any way to flash new roms through USB?

I finally made my mind to upgrade to WM5/6, but the action/enter button of my X50v is broken. So is there anyway to reflash the rom through USB? (I am still using WM2003SE A02 version.)

Also, I heard the internal rom in X50v does not work very well with WM5/6, is that true?

Lots of posts on this site about not upgrading the X50 series to WM5 and the issues that followed. There are a few posts of people that have upgraded to a WM6 ROM with the X50 but I am not sure with what results. Non of the current ROMs that are available on the internet use a USB connection to do the upgrade that I have located.

I've just noticed this post (137015-tutorial-how-revive-bricked-x51-v-using-dommes-sd-rom-loader-tutorial.htm) that included a small program to convert dell img files to nb0. Does anybody know any program that does the reverse or the file format of img?

In short, no (people have been trying to solve that one for ages with no luck).
