x51v Crashing with TCPMP
Hi guys,
I'm having a very strange problem with TCPMP on my Axim. Axim is running Lenny's A10 WM6.1 ROM. I recently bought top of the line headphones (shure se530 ) and so I upgraded my music to a higher bitrate (either by re-ripping it from cd or downloading it). I downloaded 8 albums by one band. One of the albums refuses to play and/or crashes TCPMP (any song in that album). I've never had a problem with TCPMP crashing before. MP3 files are at 320kbps. They play just fine in Core Player, but I much prefer TCPMP (at least for music). This last album was downloaded from a different source than the other seven. What could be different about an MP3 file that would make TCPMP behave like this? Thanks

EDIT: I just downloaded the same album again (a different upload) and it works fine. But I'm still very curious. Does anyone know why TCPMP would do this? What could have been wrong with or different about those MP3s?

I use TCPMP only for movies but I use S2P (free application) for all of my music. Works great.

Download quality, corrupted files,???

If you still have the initial downloaded MP3's, check the file properties, is all I can suggest. Try them with a different media player, and on the desktop/PC as well!

Yea they played fine on the PC and on the axim with coreplayer. It's very odd. I downloaded them again from a different upload and they worked great. Weird...
