Need help mapping a drive letter

Hello,

Is there a way to map a drive with a letter like in Windows?

Reason is share a USB Hard Drive on my LAN and I access the MP3's from my X50V, but I'd like to play the playlists as well. All the playlists (I have like 100) are builtin using the H/D's drive letter in every song. So my player won't find the songs because my PDA is not mapped the same way as my PC.

I can map a drive with RescoExplorer, bu can't assign a letter.

I have too many playlists to rework, so if there was a way to map a drive with a letter, I'd be able to use the playlists.

Thanks,

X50V WM2003SE
CF Card 4GB
SD Card 1 GB
Player: TCPMP
RescoExplorer 7.0
Home PC: Windows XP

I use S2P as my music player (its free also). It will find all of your music no matter where its stored and display a directory listing of where the music can be found or you can just scroll to the various albums. :approve:

Another player? I already have like 5 players, so I'll wait to see if -instead- there is a way to map a drive letter first, before I try s2P. bUt thanks for your suggestion.

I think I read once that I can use PocketDos to map a drive letter, but I wonder if there's another way.
