Charging x51v for 8 hours

I just got my X51v and it says you need to charge it for 8 hours. Mine has been charging for 3 and a half hours so far(and the green light is glowing). Will it harm my PDA if I stop charging it and use it?

No, it won't hurt anything. The 8 hour is to make sure the battery get's a deep charge.

If you want to 'play', plug in the wall charger and you can do both at the same time. If you don't have separate wall charger cable, you will need it to charge when you travel anyway.

I didnt think a "deep" charge was necessary with today's li-ion batteries. After all, when its at the green light its just maintaining 100% battery, isnt it.

You are right about. I responded during that 5 second vacation we sopposedly take each 60 seconds.
