I have Verizon’s mini-chip in my XPS1210, but I would like mobile broadband in my X51v. I am willing to give up my SD slot. Does anyone know of a wireless broadband service that has a Secure Digital devise?

There is nothing proprietary about the Dell BT GPS. I have used it with my AT&T 8525 with both Live Search & Google Maps. The Dell GPS software automatically tasks care of configuring the com ports. Under BT settings you will need to set up a new outgoing port. Also under settings --->
external GPS you will have setup a program & hardware port. Beware, this may effect the Dell GPS software from being able to communicate with your GPS.
You would be better off just using the Dell Navigation Software. I am not sure if there is an easy to get a data connection to your Axim beides a BT connection which would be extremely slow.
