ipaq classic 111 to a dell axim x51v
I just changed from a ipaq classic 111 to a dell axim x51v operatig system 5.00 the sd card is a 4g it will not work in the axim any reason for this what is the maximum sd size for this unit

is it an sdhc, I believe theres a patch for wm5 or you could flash the rom to wm 6/6.1

I currently have a 16gb SDHC card and a 16gb CF card in my X51V. There is a 32gb version of both memory cards and others have reported that they work also, but they have upgraded to WM6.1 ROM available on the internet.

Yes, upgrading the OS to Windows Mobile 6 or Windows Mobile 6.1 will give you the SDHC drivers for 4+ GB SD cards. Not necessarily recommended unless the person is somewhat technically inclined...

4 GB was the maximum size of a non-SDHC SD memory card. There are some non-SDHC 4GB cards out there. Most do work fine with the x51v with Windows Mobile 5...

Transcend 150x SD 4 GB works, SDHC does not. At least on the WinMob 5 that came on X51V.
