Anyone Upgrade RAM To 128 Megs?

I am casually considering upgrading RAM to 128 from the 64 that comes factory. Has anyone done this, or thought about it and would you say its worth it? I think having double ram would be pretty nice and a lot of newer, and very expensive phones have 128 ram. I'm not crazy about not having my Axim for however long it takes, also the $129 price tag is not ver appealing considering I got this device for cheap. Any insights would be appreciated.

I did it for two and I think it's a good move. I don't have to worry about memory when I want to start something. It was a bit expensive, but it's greatly extended the usefulness of my X50v and X51v.

I did it and I am very happy. It was not cheap but I think it was very good way to spend this money.

I had it done on my x50v and loved it. I now have a x51v that when I can free up the cash I'll have it done to it. You probably won't notice any speed improvements but if you're a power user like me you'll enjoy the benefits of having more ram. For instance, less soft resets due to multitasking. Currently I have to soft reset before I run my gps software due to it's requiring about 25Mb of ram to run. This isn't necessary with my x50v.

Doesn't adding more RAM require more power (i.e. the battery is consumed quicker)? How is battery life after the conversion?

I don't have any data to verify this but I didn't notice any change in battery runtime.
