.crc file- A06 for Dell Axim x51v (English)

Using makuu's tutorial (here) on how to transform Dell update packages into .nb0 file, I downloaded some x51v/x51 updates to do that.

I could not find the .crc code or file that goes with the x51v A06 update (English). Anyone got that?

For anyone who is upgrading to A06 English , you can do me a favor by looking at the "CRC checksum" during the update. Then post that 8-digit letter/number combination here. Thanks!

Just curious, why would you upgrade to A06 when A12 is available and better?

I'm running LennySh's L11 WM6 ROM. I'm making the files for people who want to upgrade from A04 to A06 for some odd reason. hehe

I can't wait to see how many people find that a useful upgrade.

Edit: if you are going to do it, it would seem to make sense to use the most up to date files.
There is a significant difference between A06 and A12 and with the Dell Update via Active sync there is no need to go to A06 before going to A12, I would assume it is the same when flashing a rom of this type.

Unless you are mixing up the X51 and the X51v files.

A12 for x51
A12 for x51v

Both are English.

These files have already been posted on the internet for the X51V at a revision level of A12 from Dell. In fact I have a copy. :approve:

Yes, I know rapidshare as them. But on the forums, there aren't any links. I'll probably make a post with all the ROMS for x51v/the others.

Hey I downloaded the LennySh WM6, and its sitting on my Axim X51v, How do I Install it, its not like something I can click and download... Do i have to replace a file somewhere? the ,CRC .NBO don't do anything, i'm a noob, and i'm confused, help me get WM6 running

Anyway problem solved a long time ago. Somebody came up with a CRC calculator.
