cover for larger battery

I bought one of the larger batteries for the Axim, from an ebay seller. I think its about 2200. The thicker cover doesn't bother me, but the cover won't stay on. The sliding switch won't stay in the locked position, with the replacement door.

From elsewhere in this forum, I know about soldering the indicator switch, but that still doesn't help me with the cover falling off. Anyone else have one of these bigger batteries, and did you have problems with the cover?

That is probably a deformed battery door cover. I have a 2200mAh battery and the door stays on fine. I think you need to replace yours.

If the reseller is reputable, they should send you a new cover.

I had the same problem with my Mugen battery and cover. I was able to resolve it without returning it. I found that if I pushed on the lower left corner of the battery cover with my left thumb, while sliding the latch to the lock position, it did end up settling into place. I had to do this with more pressure on the cover initially, but now it settles with minimal or even no effort.
