Recording and typing?

Hello,

I plan to use my Axim as my primary notetaking tool in my lectures. I intend to get a keyboard and type my notes, but I'd also like to record the lecture. It seems like you can't record and use another program at the same time. Can anybody tell me if there is a way around this?

I don't believe there's a way around it. Keep in mind the recorder only runs for a short period of time. It was designed to capture a thought or phone number, etc. It wasn't designed to capture audio for a long period of time, such as a lecture.

Actually, the recorder will run for as long as you have storage space for it.

You can record and type your notes at the same time in the notes program itself.

Google for this freeware:
Keep Recordin' is extremely easy to use. Launch the application, press left menu button 'Record' and the recording will immediately start. When you wish, press the same button again (now it is called 'Stop') to stop the recording. That's it!
