trouble getting my x51 to use my blue tooth network thumb drive

I bought a USB Blue Tooth Network Thumb Drive and am using Windows XP Pro SP 2. My x51 detects the thumb drive, and the thumb drive detects my x51, but I can't get online regardless with my x51. I made sure blue tooth was enabled and able to connect to other blue tooth devices and see them, and I made sure my blue tooth thumb drive was able to do the same.

Any ideas as to what is going? Blue tooth is on right now, so i'm a bit confused.

If I'm understanding your post correctly,
you need to pair the Ax with the computer.
Then when you are paired it should give you the option of Active Sync in the BT services on the Ax.

Once you have established those basics, then open Active Sync on the Ax and select connect via Blue tooth.

The axim then uses the internet passthrough facility of Active sync to connect to the internet via your computer.

My brain isn't working very well just now and this may not be clearest of explanations.

Nice explanation Box, it's networking at the axim level, you will have to create a port, by default 7 or 8, for an incoming port to the ax.

The port thing I think is my problem, I cant figure out how to create a port on windows XP that is either 7 or 8 that my Axim can connect to.

I managed to get Internet explorer to work and stay connected. But I couldnt get onto MSN mobile. The whole thing seems pretty random. I get disconnected from the bluetooth com port randomly and have to go through the steps of setting up the bluebooth on both my computer and my axim everytime. I think I either got a crappy bluetooth dongle or something else is wrong. Its hard to say.
