x50 WM5 ROM for Low End Models (The ones with 416mhz processors):

x50 WM5 ROM for Medium End Models (The ones with 520mhz processors):
Drivers and Downloads

Just boot up the x50 and run the setup. It will automatically update via Dell's installer. No need to use the bootloader.

Johnhu, those are the updates once you have WM5 already installed on the Axim.

Killian is asking for the upgrade from 2003 to WM5.

I think the only way you will get it is to buy an Upgrade Disk from Ebay.
To the best of my knowledge, which may be wrong, it is not available as a download.
You could look in the classified forum here, or even post a wanted add in the classifieds, some people will still have the disk sitting unopened.

There's been too many people asking for the WM5 upgrade, so should I just upload an iso file of the upgrade cd since Dell no longer seems to provide any services for axims (one would still need to know how to use the iso file to make a cd)?

Thanks Box. I didn't know that. A new thing I learned.

Can you explain to my why that I could upgrade from A12 to a WM6 ROM on a x51v?

@Steven, is that legal? .iso of a commercial CD?

I don't understand your question.

Edit: I think I got what you are asking.

When you went to WM6 you used a boot loader. That is a different thing.

So since I used a bootloader (I know that).
Why can't he extract/convert the ROM file from Dell's Stock ROM and flash it?

I'm guessing that the bootloader is different between WM2003 and WM5?
Am I correct?

*darn, should have started another thread, instead of hijacking this one.
