Volume Control over A2DP Bluetooth

hi!

i have succesfully established an a2dp bluetooth-connection between my x51v
and a bt-stereo receiver for my amp. (thanks to broadcom stack)

unfortunatly pocket music (my favourite mp3-player, the only one thats really
finger-friendly) can't control output volume over a2dp. nothing happens when i
change the volume slider.

has anybody an idea, how this could be solved - a remote withou volume
control is only half the fun ...

thanks in advance

I messed around with it some a while back. It seems to be totally dependent on your player and how it interacts with the Axim's volume control. At the time my favorite player wouldn't do it. I'm currently using CorePlayer (partially for this exact reason) and it works there but it isn't as finger friendly or has library management as nice as some other players.

You may have to control volume on your amp. Many bluetooth headsets have volume control for this very reason...

thanks for the answers

@pinyon ... that's exactly what i am forced to do. only coreplayer (and tcpmp) control the volume. i'll post if i find a solution, although i don't think one is coming my way.

i tried
s2p,
pocketmusic,
pocketplayer,
gsplayer,
mortplayer,
windows mediaplayer
and sompy player

--- Is anything missing on this list?

@dkimai
