Is it possible to get Skyfire running on an Axim?
Right now I switch out using UCWEB6 and Opera Mobile 9.5. It would be good to have a browser that could do flash on some of the sites I go to.

It seems like Skyfire only works on phones. I've installed 2 different builds and neither of them would work.

It's not possible to run it on a ppc without a phone number yet..As for flash did you try the latest diamond opera 2392 and the adobe flashlite 3.1 yet?

I did try that today and, although I like the updated Opera none of the flash sites work properly.

You could always add a phone to your axim (via various cf card devices), but that's all I can think of.

Here is a guide on skyfire's website that shows you how to download a cab file for skyfire. I read through it and dont see where you would need a phone. Just a wm5+ device

I got the cab file link:

I also downloaded the cab in case the link goes bad. I dont have a new ppc to test it on.

I downloaded Spunker's link.

It appears to install on my X51v running WM6

The skyfire search feature appears on the today screen, but it doesn't do anything.

When you go to programs and tap on Skyfire, you get the this program cannot run blah blah blah error.

I did soft reset after installation.
I didn't bother testing it further.

I had the same results as Box on the 51v WM5-it did run on my HTC 7501
WM 6 Pro but screen presentation is messed up.
