Media player not working.

Hello all, My Axim x51v media player will not play any of my songs. it played once with volume and then nothing. All the music is installed on the SD card. Should i transfer over to the CF card or leave on the Sd card. The version is 10.3 build 18508.
Do i have to download any thing . All the music is in WMA file, not MP3.
Have seen somewhere on this site that you can download another player or update some codecs i think.
I have taken the SD card out in case of doing anything of the above.
Thanks in advance,
The guy with tke "L" plates on from down under.

First, try using a song that is MP3 format.
Also, try out a headphone/earbud to see if the speakers are dead.
Did you sync using Windows Media Player (On your desktop)?
Lastly, try to transfer one song to main memory.

The music player I use is called 'S2P'. Its a free application. It will recognize your music on the units main memory, a SD card or a CF card. Works like a charm for me. All of my music is in MP3 format though.

Tried s2p. If you have lots of music, the "cover flow" doesn't work.

open up windows media player, press menu, library, library again get drop down menu sd card (have the sd card in) my music (should show all of your songs. press one of those songs and see if it plays. If not reopen windows media player press menu, update library. You'll see a bunch of files being added and done. Press done. Play the media player

Hope this helps
