Size difference between the 2200mah and 3300mah x51v batteries?

I was wondering if there is a huge difference between the 2200mah and 3300mah extended battereis for the dell axim x51v. Do these extended batteries make the x51v that much noticeably thicker? I mainly will be using my pda rotations for pharmacy school and will be carrying it with me in my lab coat. I don't want it to be too big of a bulge with the piel frama flip case. What do you think? Is there a different case similar in quality and design as the piel frama that would work better for an extended battery? How are sena cases? any others?

I didnt measure it or anything, but the 2200 is still pocketable. I can live with the 2200 size though it does take away the slim form factor of the standard battery. The 3600 will easily double the size of your axim at least. Im sure people are going to recommend the sena extended case, I'm using the pdair black magnesium case, works great for me.

I just measured my 51v with 2200 mah plus cover and it's
1/4" thicker then standard 51v with orig battery.

I have the 3600mAH battery and it is quite thick. Essentially, the two extended batteries just add an additional cell to the pack. The 2200mAH battery has 2 cells and the 3600mAH has 3 cells.

There is a smaller 2200mAH cell made by Mugan Power but I've never seen one up close - there are pictures on this forum somewhere.

IF you're going to use your Axim as your primary computing device with Wifi and BT active, I'd use the 3600mAH battery. Unfortunately, I know of no cases to fit it - unless you do what another Aximsite member did and build the cells into the case.
