NOOOOOOOOOOO

Damn I'm heart broken for you. I hope you get another. I love mine so much it's almost like seeing some get hit in the groin on Americas funniest and crossing my legs.

Best of Luck:approve:

Ow.
Lost Axim. Hope you had it locked so it wouldn't be much use to the thief!

That's a damn good Idea John. I used to have it password locked when I first got it,but got tired of it. I'm feeling paranoid now, I think I'll set it back up again.

The thief probably didn't take it for the data. He/she can just hard reset it...
They should have something like LoJack (It's on my laptop) for PDAs.

Thanks for your sympathy guys but it was not stolen, I lost it

Somewhere in the mud at SantaPod (Flame and Thunder Drag meeting ). It was hooked to my belt in a Krussel leather case, but it must have worked it self off the belt (it has done so before, so perhaps I should have left it in the car).

I wouldn't buy a krussel case again. I like the click mechanism, but I broke two plastic case clips before making my own from solid aluminium.

I don't keep any important info on the ax, there's only names telephone numbers and email addresses (i.e. public information). I don't even save login passwords, so it shouldn't be much use to the new 'owner'.

I suppose there's still a chance someone will hand it in to race control, but given the amount of mud, most likely the next person to see it will be an archaeologist!

YESYES YESSSSS

They've found it!!!!!!!!! FAN b******y TASTIC

Had a phone call this morning from race control. They got my name from the owner screen and phone number from contacts (so perhaps locking them isn't such a good idea?).

In my excitement I forgot to ask where it was found and by whom so I'll have to ask in my thankyou letter. And, I'll send beer-tokens, flowers etc.

I am so, so chuffed, never have I missed a bit of technology so much :)

:):):):)
