x50v brick - Bootloader works/Diagnostics doesn't

Well, I tried to update my x50v to Windows Mobile 5 A01 last night, and after loading the bootloader, I tried to load WM05 and reset the axim... nothing happened... I tried to go to the diagnostics screen by hitting record/power/reset... nothing happened... I went back to the bootloader and reloaded Win2003SE bootloader/OS restarted... nothing happened... The only thing that comes up is the bootloader, it seems that the diagnostics screen doesn't work, and my axim will no longer boot (or even attempt to boot) into an O/S.

Has anyone seen this happen? Any help is appreciated!
